Old Orchards in the Landscape
Old Orchards in the Landscape was organised in collaboration with Common Ground and the Northern Fruit Group.
It was held on 13 November 1999 and attended by 115 people.
There were nine speakers, poster displays, a display of 200 varieties of apples, and an apple tasting session. During the day, the Northern Fruit Group launched their new project to record and map old orchards in Yorkshire, using a computer database.
