Global Warming: a regional perspective was held on Saturday 10 November 2001 and attended by c. 100 people.The keynote speaker was Prof. John Lawton (NERC). Other speakers were Prof. Philip Grime (Sheffield), Dr Pamela Berry (Oxford), Dr Richard Chiverrell (Liverpool), Dr Antony Long (Durham), Prof. Stuart Lane (Leeds) and Lance Saxby (City of York Council).
The proceedings will be published in 2002.
