SUSTAINING HISTORIC URBAN ENVIRONMENTS.
This conference was our first major event in West Yorkshire and took place on Saturday 12th March 2005.
It was organised jointly with the School of Archaeological Geographical & Environmental Sciences and the School of Lifelong Education & Development at the University of Bradford.
It focused on all aspects of historic urban environments:
- the strategies to protect and enhance them
- the impact of urban regeneration schemes on them
- education and interpretation
- public involvement, social inclusion and access
