The Changing Role of Yorkshire's Waterways

Our autumn conference 2010 will be held at the Waterways Museum in Goole. The theme will be:
The Changing Role of Yorkshire's Waterways. Speakers will include:
Judy Jones: Conservation and Recreation on the Waterways.
Bob Watson: The 'Sobriety' Project and the Port of Goole.
Robb Robinson: Far horizons: from the River Hull to the Ends of the Earth.
Michael Hopkinson: 'A desperate dangerous design': the rise and fall of Yorkshire's canal system.
There will be a guided tour of Goole docks by boat and a change to visit the Waterways Museum. The cost of the conference will be £25.00 (£20.00 for retired/unwaged), including tea/coffee and buffet lunch. Numbers are limited to 50 people.
