Richard Myerscough will lead this joint visit with the Ryedale Vernacular Building Materials Research Group, starting from Rudston Church and ending at Wharram-le-Street. Bring packed lunch and wear stout footwear. Cost: £5.00 per head. Book via the PLACE Office.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 51, 255);">Chapel House Wood, Wharfedale</span><br />Roger Martlew will lead this joint event with the Yorkshire Dales Landscape Research Trust. It will take place on Saturday 19 June, 10.30am to 4.00pm. Meet at the lay-by on the B6160 (grid ref: SD 978653) and bring packed lunch. The focus will be on prehistoric archaeological remains, including settlements and field systems. Walking steep, through pasture fields. Cost: £5.00 per head.
